Fuller's to become just another Pubco!

So! It's goodbye and cheers to Fuller's who are to become another pubco, similar to Young's following the death of John Young! Reported this morning, Fuller's are selling their brewing, wholesale and distribution departments to Japanese group Asahi for £250 million, hmmm...

Also, I will soon be writing about my trip to Sheffield recently and a very special mile, which included a visit to the Kelham Island Tavern from which Trevor recently retired (previous blog), as did Lewis, though Lewis still works there full-time, hmmm...  😕

Best wishes and good luck to Trevor Wraith, recently retired from running the multiple award winning (eg twice CAMRA National Pub of the Year) Kelham Island Tavern in Sheffield (blog). Trevor and Lewis took over this pub when it had been a long closed down hostelry years ago, and turned it into the excellent thriving public house it is now. This was reported in the January 2019 CAMRA What's Brewing newspaper, but I had been told previously by a friend up in Sheffield, where I shall be visiting very soon, so shall check up on progress, cheers! 😉
